Holy Communion at the Lutheran Church of the Newtons follows the Lutheran tradition and theology, that Lutherans believe that the Body and Blood of Christ are "truly and substantially present in, with and under the forms" of consecrated bread and wine (the elements), so that communicants eat and drink both the elements and the true Body and Blood of Christ himself in the Sacrament of the Eucharist whether they are believers or unbelievers.

Although our worship services are on-line presently, we have scheduled outdoor communion in a safe, physically distanced manner in the St. Francis garden.  Contact the church office if you would like to receive the link to sign up for the next Communion service (or check your emails if you are already on the LCN email list).
