The next meeting is Tuesday March 9. Choir Rehearsal: Choir rehearsals are held on Wednesdays 7:30p - 9:00p. All are welcome. While they are on hold for the present, we have a virtual choir that records hymns, service music, and anthems to play during our Zoom worship services. If you have any questions or would like to join us, please call Katherine Sipolt. An Evening with Shir Hadash: Many of you are aware that we have shared our building with several other faith communities for a very long time. The Shir Hadash congregation is our longest current partnership. We are planning a Zoom gathering with Shir Hadash members for Sunday, March 14th, early evening. Mark your calendar now and plan to join. This will be an opportunity to share our experiences over the past difficult year as well as to get to know our faith community neighbors. More details will be sent to LCN members via email. |

Living Lutheranism: a 6-week Faith Formation series Sundays at 11am via Zoom, Pastor Kari Jo is offering a series on the Lutheran expression of the Christian faith. Drawing on Daniel Erlander's insight that Lutheranism is "a way of life," the series will explore a Lutheran take on some of the fundamental questions of faith. All are welcome! The sessions will be friendly to all backgrounds and will not require advanced preparation. Below are the remaining sessions:
Week 3 (February 28): Lutheran Soteriology (from what/for what are we are saved?) Week 4 (March 7): Lutheran Worship (when Jesus throws a party, he shows up) Week 5 (March 14): Lutheran Ethics (how then shall we live?) Week 6 (March 21): The ELCA (and other acronyms) Sunday School Classes are online, from 11:00-11:30. 7th-12th grade students will have a Bible study with Hal Dvorak. The class is now studying portions of St. Paul's epistles. 1st-6th graders will meet with Susan Batutis, Emily DeGroat, and Elizabeth Moisuk, and will learn about New Testament stories.
